So we opted for rings, and I understand that the rules of the EGL is something lienient the GIA tilt. I also understand that the rules of the GII are a bit narrower than the EGL, but more lienient the GIA. But quite honestly, is an IGI certified diamond is worth much less a GIA certified? For example, after shopping around what we see is a difference, such as:
