Price To Get An Igi Certification For Diamond Importance Of GIA Vs. IGI Certification On A Diamond?

Importance of GIA vs. IGI certification on a diamond? - price to get an igi certification for diamond

So we opted for rings, and I understand that the rules of the EGL is something lienient the GIA tilt. I also understand that the rules of the GII are a bit narrower than the EGL, but more lienient the GIA. But quite honestly, is an IGI certified diamond is worth much less a GIA certified? For example, after shopping around what we see is a difference, such as:

Marquise Cut

75 Karat
Color: E
SI 1
GIA CERT
$ 2,500

75 Karat
Color: D
VS 2
IGI CERT
$ 2,000

The certification is actually much more interesting to $ 500 - $ 1000 price difference justified (we saw a big jump to another store that sells diamonds GIA CERT).We're just trying to get wet on our feet and to find out what we really need to consider and address other things.

One thing the 2 of diamonds in the left hand side is the cut quality, which is an important factor. Relations with Marquis also be ideal.

Classification of IGI is apparently softer than GIA, IGI would be the same as worth less qualified, but not see the difference. The difference should be about 10%.

Marquise Cut Diamond traditional length for the relationship from 1.75 to 2.25 Width

You have missed a very important factor. The "how" of the stone, or more precisely the dimensions of the stone.

A good cut should be about twice Marquis longer than wide. Marquis cut flat (thin), so they look bigger at the top. However, it creates what we call the "arc" or The Butterfly Effect. If you looked at the stone from the top, one can clearly see the black spot is concerned.

If the stone is cut too deep, again, does the light not behaved in the stone in order to convey accurately, which makes the stone appear darker or even clouds.

The data presented here are probably reflective (no pun intended) of the mark in stone. If I compare where the stonesaside, I think he should do just that. Colors, lights and class to conclude with certainty what the size?

I closed my education with GIA diamond. A product certification report shall include the dimensions of the stone. I always have the dimensions of the evaluation diamonds have IGI?
