14 Foot Boat Floor Kit How Fast Will A Boat Go With A 20hp Outboard (see Details)?

How fast will a boat go with a 20hp outboard (see details)? - 14 foot boat floor kit

We are looking for a new boat for our outer four-stroke Honda 20hp buy electricity. This outboard is light enough for a 4-time - it weighs 49 kg. We consider the following vessels:

1. Inflatible Inflatables, 310 cm long (10 feet)
2. Inflatible again, but 340cm long (11 feet)
3. A 14 foot (430cm) Inflatible

We also have an opportunity to a) RIB (Rigid V)-shaped hull made of fiberglass, or b) an inflatable hull with aluminum panels that cover the ground.

My question is, what kind of speed can be expected in any case, our 20 hp outboard? If you have an opinion on the best type of speedboat, which was rather small, I hear. The boat that I listed above, with a weight of about 50 to 60 kg.

PS Our current boat is a boat with a 500cm CSF stroke Yamaha 85 hp 2 and 37 h on the flat with two people on board, measured 80 kg (with GPS).

20 hp is too heavy, compared to 10 or 11 'and 14 is a shell more flexible and more versatile than `pressing need to, but I think it would fly with Honda 20 hp to ... .. about 18 to 20 mph I do not know your burden, but I do not expect much more than that.
Good luck!

Edit. The 20 HP puts more weight behind the CG / and you and your passengers must as far as possible in smaller boats. Even then, the benefits of increased efficiency of the bow and it is difficult to push "the boat airplane. What can be done with the smaller 8 hp. However, the speed will not change much as the 18 - to 20 MPH over, even with a much larger engine.
